Relationship between sector development policies and biodiversity conservation
This project seeks to characterize the relationship between the development of the productive sectors and of public services in the country, and the state and conservation of biological resources.
It has as an objective to typify the physical relations (inputs - production - wastes), and specially those between the processes and products of policy formulation. Later the conflicts between different sector objectives will be analyzed and recommendations on eventual solutions will be made.
The project has not been officially initiated although it has been presented to the Ministry of the Environment, specifically to the Unit for the Coordination of Credits, in order to obtain funding from the World Bank.
